There are so many restaurants in and around Nice, the choice is limitless. Here are just a few we know and like, but open any guidebook, any magazine, any web page on the subject, and you’ll find many more suggestions, from a cheap pizzeria to the local specialties such as the Socca, the daube niçoise, Nice olives & olive oil, the world famous salad niçoise, the pan bagnat, stuffed niçois, the vegetable fritters, and do not forget to try the pissaladière. There are numerous local restaurants offering all these dishes in the old city.
