Nice and Around

The villa is located in the hills above Nice with a splendid view of the ocean. It is a 10 minutes drive to the city or the old town of Nice (Vieux Nice) with excellent restaurants and exciting nightlife, and the famous flower market Cours Saleya. There are plenty of beaches along the “Promenade des Anglais” offering a wide range of water sports and restaurants.

Within a 30 minutes drive you can find, amongst others, famous places like Monaco and Cannes and numerous small typically French villages and towns like St. Paul de Vence, Antibes, Eze, Grasse, etc. The area has been called home by quite a few of the world artists of the last century. You’ll find museum dedicated to Chagall, Renoir, Picasso, Matisse, and many others who lived around here. The Italian markets of San Remo and Ventimiglia can be reached by car in about 45 min.

There are so many things to do, to try, to see, to visit, but then again, the villa itself could make your day.
